A total of 470 ICR and BALB/c mice were evaluated for spontaneous lung tumors. Each neoplasms was graded for age, size, histological type and degree of differentiation grossly and microscopically. The results were as follows;
1. The incidence of mice with lung tumors was 3, 4% in totally which is consisted of 2 cases in 6¡9 months old, 11 in 9¡12 months old and 3 in over 12 months old.
2. Most of the tumors were small in size measuring below 0. 5§®.
3. Histopathologically, the tumors were classified as papillary, solid or mixed in type. The papillary type was prominent mostly.
